The trail from Mayfield to Tolmantown had to be re-routed again this year. The new trail is a fairly short diversion from the old and may be nicer than the last one. The second Beech St. crossing ends up being much closer to the end of my road. So it cuts my side of the road riding in half whether I'm heading east or west :).

I rode up through there Tuesday, the trail to Tolmantown was a little thin but not bad considering its a new trail. The club did a really nice job with it, much better than the old trail. Tolmantown from start to end was in good shape, kinda hard packed. I got as far as the Pinnacle rd crossing and turned around.

I rode out it again today and agree with dizzer258's assessment.

I also went the other way today, out to the lake. That was a really fun ride too. The fields between Mayfield and the lake were excellent. I didn't venture out to the lake because it was pretty much zero visibility with the falling snow.
