Just thought I'd let you know how things are going. The sled is fantastic. I've done the regular maintainence. Clutch, slides, oil change, chain case changed oil and adjusted, track tension adjusted.

Original slides lasted 6,000 miles. Clutch was done at 6,000 miles.

I had one waranty issue when the starter gear broke off some teeth when the engine backfired.
It was fixed and the ECU was reprogramed.

If you experience push in the corners and some darting I've found the cure.
Wood's 8' slim Jims cure all and give the sled a whole new feeling. I learned this while in Canada
From a big time snowmobiler. I took his advice and was absolutely blown away with the results.
My friend has the same sled and he couldn't believe what a difference the slim jims made . He is sold as well.

I have heard that around 5-6,000 miles the rear wheels that the track spins around on can ware the bearings out.
I'm having them replaced next week with 4 new wheels instead of the original 2 wheel set up.
This is supposed to be less stressful and will hold up longer down the road.

I still love this sled and can't wait to put on more miles.

If no snow at home think Canada. My third trip this year is coming up shortly.

Think Snow. Regards to all. Ride Right! Combat

Keep the shiney side up and if it won't go chrome it!
